I'm Sam Clothier, but most of you probably know me as the Wet Mammal. What started as one guy's obsession with the ocean has grown into something much bigger. Wet Mammal is more than just one person now. It's a celebration of ocean lifestyle, raw adventure, and the spearfishing culture we live for.

We create tough, functional gear designed to survive the harshest coastal and marine environments, because if you're anything like us, you're not just dipping a toe in. Born and raised in Devon, England, I’ve been spearfishing since I was 13. For the past 12 years, I’ve called Australia home, spending every spare moment in the sea chasing fish and exploring coastlines. What began as a way to share my adventures with mates turned into a passion for storytelling, showcasing not just the thrill of the hunt, but also the beauty and fragility of the natural world. Wet Mammal is about reconnecting with nature, earning your feed, and respecting the ocean that gives it.
